Stretch for the slopes this season with a yoga retreat. Wake up to salute the snow with an hour long morning yoga class meant to clear the mind and wake the body. After class, you’ll be ready to hit the slopes, then wind down with a restorative class and healthy meal.

42nd Annual Gold Rush Nordic Ski Race

Join us at Colorado’s oldest Cross-Country Ski &  Snowshoe event – the Frisco Gold Rush!  Hosted by the Town of Frisco and the Frisco Nordic Center, the Frisco Gold Rush connects Frisco’s mining past with nordic traditions of the present.  2012 will be the 42nd year of this classic high country wintertime event.

Colorado Special Olympics Winter Games

March 3- March 5

The Winter Games mark the culmination of the winter sports season for the 550 athletes who annually participate in Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Figure Skating, Snowshoeing and Snowboarding. This season marks the 24th consecutive year Copper Mountain will host the event. Copper is proud to be the Official winter training site for all Colorado-based winter Special Olympics athletes, as well as the Official host resort for the Winter Games.

USASA Snowboarding Nationals

March 30- April 6

The USASA National Championships is the largest snowboard and free skiing event on earth. The top regional athletes are all invited to compete to become the National Champions. http://www.usasa.org
